This Green Technology, SCFE makes use of carbon-di-oxide as the solvent and CO2 under supercritical conditions extracts a range of plant materials that are completely pure (as they do not retain themselves in the end products), closest to nature (odour-wise) and are food grade. This is the mildest method used for extracting oils and oleoresins from plants that are heat sensitive as the process does not require high temperature and hence the materials are not distorted in any manner.
